Dwayne Johnson Biography

Since his breakout roles in "The Mummy Returns," "The Scorpion King" and "The Game Plan," Dwayne Johnson has been one of Hollywood's go-to leading men. After graduating from the University of Miami, Johnson followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather and joined the WWE. From 1996-2003, his character, "The Rock," was a massive fan fave, breaking box office records and wowing the crowds. Dwayne's passion for performance led to a love of acting, and he soon won roles in "The Mummy Returns" and its sequel, "The Scorpion King," followed by "The Game Plan," "Be Cool," "Gridiron Gang" and "Get Smart." In March, he'll be hitting the big screen again in the action-adventure film "Race to Witch Mountain," and in "Tooth Fairy" and "Planet 51" later this year. In his "spare time," Johnson has written an autobiography and works with his charity, The Rock Foundation, as well as The American Red Cross, and The Make-A-Wish Foundation. He's also a devoted dad to his 7-year-old daughter, Simone.
